My Place in Color is an impressionistic style of painting with lots of thick layers of paint.  Inspired by a favorite beach walk in Gearhart, Oregon, a sand path cuts through spring-time dune grasses in green, lavendar, blue, pink and yellow.  In the distance is the Pacific Ocean and Tillamook Head with clouds dancing above.
