Yes, we really do have elk on the beach in Gearhart, Oregon.  This big bull elk was gazing comtemplatively over the ocean one day and was captured by a photographer.  I paintined from the photo in my studio.  The day was chilly and gray and the elk was almost silouhetted against the ocean.  This painting is perfect for a beach house, cabin in the woods or a suburban two-story.  If you love big animals and the ocean, this is a winner.
